Engineer Victorio Mejia is recognized for his perseverance as an entrepreneur, business acumen and managerial skills. He is able to develop and sustain a business enterprise that provides employment opportunities, thus uplifting the social and economic welfare not only of its employees but also the communities where the business is operating. The association honors him for his integrity, good corporate citizenship and social responsibility over profit as living proof that social commitment can co-exist with business success.

Engineer Victorio Mejia graduated from the Mapua Institute of Technology as chemical engineer in 1970. It was in this field that he developed his expertise in running a business. After graduation, he joined a company that traded chemicals and became its vice president after just 2 years. He established his fully-owned trading company, Excella Trade Center, Inc., which imported diversified chemicals serving various industries. He went around the world to further improve his business and management skills. His business flourished and expanded enormously. He complimented his chemical import business with a transportation business and further went into housing and construction business building residential and industrial projects.

At present, his business is still growing and is providing employment to hundreds of employees, thus uplifting their social and economic welfare too. Engr Mejia is the President and CEO of Excella Trade Center, President and CEO of VGM Excella Transport, Inc and President and CEO of Avello Development Corporation.
